Action for Breast Cancer
In 2024, First European and sister company First Title Insurance plc have supported the fight against breast cancer through their donations to the Action for Breast Cancer Foundation.
Our team member Sue Caruana Domancich, in collaboration with Esther Sant, Chairperson of the Foundation, has been instrumental in advocating for “Cold Cap” treatment availability in Malta’s local public hospital, broadening access beyond private facilities. Thanks to the Action for Breast Cancer Foundation’s generous donation of two Cold Cap machines to the Sir Anthony Mamo Oncology Centre (SAMOC), patients will have the possibility of preserving their hair during chemotherapy.
This meaningful advancement will support patients’ mental health while enhancing comfort and dignity throughout their treatment journey.
As a voluntary organisation, the Action for Breast Cancer Foundation, is committed to securing high-quality, assured services for breast cancer diagnosis and treatment across Malta and Gozo.

First European have supported Women for Women, by donating tickets to women in need, in order to attend their annual Women’s Health & Wellbeing Expo held in February 2025.
The Women’s Health & Wellbeing Expo aligns with Women for Women‘s mission to equip women and girls with the tools to build their own independent lives.
They believe that by empowering and enabling women and girls, they not only address critical issues of inequality and poverty but also unlock a wealth of talent and capabilities that can drive societal progress.
Żibel beach Cleanup
Our offices are located in Malta, an island surrounded by beaches and it was only natural for First European to organise a beach clean-up as part of its environmental consciousness.
We joined forces with Żibel, a non-profit organisation founded and created to create awareness and inspire action.
In the seven years of operation, the organisation has grown from simply clean ups to remote marine clean ups, ghost nets removals, microplastic research and surveying and most recently, developing artificial reefs.
